Unlock 12 different character classes with unique passive skills! Tiny Rogues has ultra simplistic graphics, but all the depth and mechanics of a full-fledged roguelite. Gameplay is incredibly smooth, and the glorious array of weapons, buffs, potions, upgrades, events, skills, synergies… it just gives me a huge nerd boner. Especially at a mere 5 euros, Tiny Rogues is a must-buy if you are into the genre. Surprisingly simple, chirpy little homage to the roguelites of the past decade. Seemingly mechanically basic on the surface, sharp controls utilising an impressive array of weapons, playstyles and gameplay elements allows the game to thoroughly explore the genre well, scratching that satisfying, just-one-more-go itch. Content is already more than worth the price tag as it stands, with a very receptive developer planning to add much more. Difficulty can be modified in a multitude of ways, with the upper ends being especially brutal for those looking for a great bullet-hell-esque challenge. The game doesn’t rely on annoying room layouts making you feel like you’re playing the same stage over and over, and the enemy variety is great. 10/10 rogue-like.
